Happy Halloween 2012!

Tonight we went trick-or-treating with my nieces, Hadley & Lainey, and some of the kids' friends.

They had a blast, and by the end of the night, their bags were full of candy...

just what they need!

they aren't looking..



Toothless Wonder!!

Chase had a big day at school today. He lost his first tooth while "standing in line".

He's hoping the tooth fairy will pay him a visit tonight!

Cowboys & Cowgirls

My sister-in-law Tiff, grew up on a farm just outside Hawley.. we had the opportunity to take the kids horseback riding on some of their horses.. and they had the BEST time!!

Happy B-Day Chase!

Chase turned 6 today!!! My little man #1 is growing up way to fast.

He got to choose where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner.. and

McDonalds (Mick-a-donalds) it was!

Then it was home to have cake and open a few gifts.

His day started with blueberry pancakes.. I decorated his chair and hung some streamers...

I sent a balloon bouquet to his classroom.. guessing he really loved that..

It is quite the big deal to get something delivered to you in school when you are that age.

 Grandma Kathy and Boppa Sonny gave him a stack of $2 bills... boy did he love that.

 

 Time for the cake..and I must say that it turned out much better than the one I made for Shawn in March.  (You can look back at that post and see for yourself. His cake turned out AWFUL!)

 



Rollin' in the leaves..

Every fall we get an abundance of leaves in our yard.. the kids really

enjoy playing in them, as you can see.
 (And Shawn is looking forward to the yard work that awaits him.)

 

 

 

 

 



Meeting the Aunts!!

What a great weekend! We went to Fargo to meet two of Shawn's aunt's that he's never met before. Meet Lisa and Cherie..aka.."The Aunts".

and their husband's, Scott and Mark...

 They both got down and dirty with the kids at the park.

 Addie had a bit of a hair problem while she was there...

 We took lots of pictures of course!

 Sat around and talked a bit...

 Even Dylon joined us for some family time..

 And of course we took more pics before everyone went home (to Duluth and Minot) today.

I even got to be in a few pics myself... 

All in all, it was a fun weekend.. It was great meeting everyone, and we look forward to many more get togethers down the road.
