Dinosaurs, Rockmen, and Ladybugs Oh My!! Happy Halloween 2011!

Characters were as follows:

Chase was "the Rockman" from the Fantastic 4. I'm not sure if that is his real name or not.

 Addie was some kind of cute plush dinosaur. Not sure if it was representing any particular character though.

 Hadley was some kind of more mature lady bug.. I think.. she had cute lady bug features with a fairy likeness.

 Lainey was a classic ladybug...

 The kids carved pumpkins last night!



Chase's 5th Birthday Party

Chase spent his 5th birthday party with friends in "The Backyard" at the Detroit Lakes Community Center.

Heather and Maddie surprised us with a visit this weekend!  We were so excited to see both of them. Maddie has earned a new nickname from me... "Chunky Monkey".  She has "filled out" quite nicely since I last saw her.  Chase was excited to see his big sister, and his niece... Addie has a love of baby dolls now, so she thought having a baby around to hold and squish was very exciting...

 I am sure Addie was thinking.. "yeah, my hair used to be straight too!!"

Summer Vacation 2011 - Duluth

Shawn and I took the kids to Duluth and drove up the North Shore.  It was beautiful. 

We took a family fun cruise on the Vista Fleet, went to the aquarium, Gooseberry Falls, and searched for agates. Here is a few of our pics.
