We headed to Jamestown for some graduation parties. I got to see my little Maddie, who isn't so little anymore.
Chase got to go fishing with dad, and he even caught the biggest walleye.

Two wheelin' it!!
It turns out that Sunday was a beautiful day outside. We were up early and outside by 9:30am. I figured it was the perfect time for Chase to learn to ride his bike without the training wheels. He just got a new bike this past Christmas, which is quite a bit bigger than his old bike. I had him try it on his old bike (closer to the ground), and within about 3 tries in the grass, he had ridden across the yard without realizing he had done it himself. The look on his face when he turned around and saw I was across the yard, was PRICELESS! Now all he wants to do is ride around in circles in the driveway. We haven't ventured farther than that yet. His next lesson was how to stop using the breaks rather than the toes of his shoes.
We may try a bike ride or two with him on the little bike to see how he does, but watch out, because I have a feeling he will be cruising around on the big bike soon enough.
