I was able to to spend 6 days in Las Vegas for the National Physician Assistant Conference. As is custom now, I spent the first part of the week rooming with my best friend from PA school, Carissa. We were able to catch up, compare stories about our kids, and even giggled like schoolgirls once or twice. It seemed like the days consisted of walking, whether it was to the monorail to go to the convention center, or just to see some sites. Our husbands joined us later in the week. We were able to see the strip (in what seemed to be a countless number of times)... I went as a Vegas Virgin, and thanks to many late nights came home a slot machine junkee, (not really). It must have been all the excitement of seeing the lights, the people walking the strip with their 3 foot high drinks, and attempting to avoid the "slappers" handing out "business cards" of "professional" women (who could be direct to you in 20 minutes), that allowed me to not feel the fatigue until after I got home. I must say, I was pretty excited to get home and see my kids.

Carissa and I were extremely "tame" (aka lame) the entire week.
We had the opportunity to see a few other classmates from the PA-04 class, as well as some faculty.
